Excessive noise prohibited sign

What it means

To prohibit noise. If the noise level of your vehicle is high, you may not proceed past the sign, and for 100 metres after passing the sign, the vehicle’s hooter may not be used.

On any public road usually near hospitals, churches and homes for the aged.
