Nothing is consumed. An unredeemed code has not started its access period, so it can still be given to someone else.

When does a sponsored learner's access period start?

The access period starts when the learner redeems the code with their own email address, not when the sponsor buys it.

Why the clock matters

A sponsored code sits dormant until the person actually uses it. Buy twenty in August and hand them out through to February — each learner still gets their full access period from their own start date.

That is the difference between sponsoring people and buying twenty subscriptions that expire whether they were used or not.

One code, or a bulk order for ten or more. Bulk orders are quoted and invoiced, so they fit a skills-development or training budget.

2. Hand them out

Each code is a short reference you can send by email, print on a letter, or give out in person. Nothing is tied to a person until it is redeemed.

3. Their access starts

The learner enters the code with their own email address. Their access period begins at that moment and runs from there.

Yes. We can tell you which codes have been redeemed and which are still outstanding, so you can follow up with people who have not started.

Does the learner need their own email address?

Yes. The code is redeemed against the learner’s own email address, which is what ties their access and progress to them.

Is the content available in Afrikaans?

Yes. Every question exists in English and Afrikaans and the learner can switch language at any point.
